Darkness is vanishing, but one woman is fighting to save it. Dani Robertson, the UK's first dark sky officer, is on a personal mission to protect the night skies and tackle light pollution in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) and beyond. Wales has the highest percentage of protected dark skies anywhere in the world, yet despite this, artificial lighting continues to worsen each year, with 98 per cent of the UK population now living under light-polluted skies. In a world where darkness is often feared and light is embraced, we are all affected by the profound consequences - impacting human health, wildlife and biodiversity. As we gradually lose our connection to the stars and darkness becomes endangered, can Dani save the night?
